Social Justice and Outreach

North Church participates in and supports a variety of missions that assist people in our congregation, in our local neighborhoods, throughout central Ohio and in the global community.  A sample:

· B.R.E.A.D. (Building Respect Equality and Dignity) is a multi-denominational social justice organization of and for Central Ohio.  BREAD includes over 50 congregations and synagogues of various denominations.  North Church is proud to be a founding congregation of BREAD.

· YWCA Family Center provides shelter and meals to homeless families in the community.

· South Side Ministries food pantry at St. Paul's UCC.

· CROP Walk supports hunger programs in our community and abroad.

· AIDS education and support.

· Let Justice Roll:  Faith and Community Voices Against Poverty.

· Green Team: sustainable and resilient approaches to life as a congregation and as individuals

· In addition there are many other opportunities to teach, share, support, guide, direct and pray.
